Established on January 24, 2001, the Rutgers Korean Cultural Group Alumni Association, Corp. planning to provide the maximum financial and moral support to Rutgers Korean Cultural Group (RKCG). The members of RKCGAA, Corp. has personally have gone through the arduous journey as a member of RKCG and we wanted to develop and establish a group that which can assist the member of RKCG at all possible situations at any and all possible way. The difficulties faced by the members of RKCG as a student such as its financial, moral, and academic situations are very challenging to deal with and we stand to assist them.
Although the purpose of RKCGAA may seem unusual, helping younger generation is part of Korean tradition as well as traditions of many other countries. We are following our heritage, not only in school, but furthermore extending to be a role model for our younger generation to have a positive impact. By keeping and developing more extensive relationships with RKCG, a network between the younger and the older generation can be established, where older generations can lead the younger generations to provide advice for when they are confronted with situations in the real world.
